Record from Samsung Galaxy S5 to HDD

Is it at all possible to use a phone and record video directly to a hdd?
I want to know becasue since the phone I'm using alredy has a decent camera and is able to shoot in 60fps for a long time compared to my T2I that can only shoot for a limited ammount of time (approx 12 mins) because of memory and or heat problems!

So instead of buying a new DSLR for a few hundred bucks I tought why not use what I alredy have!

If at all possible I would like to avoid using third party apps but if its a must then its a must!

It is not possible to do tethered video recording direct to your computer's hard drive using a mobile phone.

You can only create videos with your mobile phone, then copy them to your computer's hard drive.
