Removing keyboard from toshiba 1525 laptop

my keyboard on a Toshiba Laptop, Satellite model psk2cu-oh6o1t has become very erratic and cannot be used due to unexpected entries; it is neg for virus; I am thinking of hooking up a USB keyboard.
Any thoughts? thanks

Hi

You dont need to remove your keyboard ...just plug in the usb one.....IF it does the same thing..it IS a virus...
