I recently renewed my contract and got a new phone (New Every 2)
I have since returned the phone within the 15 day period, and
reactivated my old v60i as none of the current crop of phones appeals
to me.
Is my contract still renewed (what if I decided to go w/
VCingular/Att)?
Thanks.

You can bet it is UNLESS you get it canceled within 30 days. You should have
done that when you turned the phone in so you would have it on paper!!

15 days grace on a new phone, 30 days grace on your plan renewal.

I don't know what's important to you in a phone but did you look at the
Samsung A650?

I replaced my phone last Sunday with an Audiovox 9900. Really like it!
Also used the NE2 allowance and manufacturer's rebate. GO VERIZON!!

I would think not, but our opinion doesn't count. Please call *611, tell em
what you did, and ask them to confirm/document that (while you tried) you
did not renew, as you've returned the phone (and assume the promotional plan
you were on) to its original status. Don't ask us, ask verizon. dr

PS: Save that person's name, and when you hang up, call back, and ask the
next person if your account reflects what the above person said/did. Double
checking can't hurt.
