Solved! Repair wii fi network connection on motherboard

Have a Acer 3680 and am not able to find a wireless connection, have tried repair and still no connection. the only way to connect to the internet is by going hardwired. can you help

have you checked Device Manager?

it could as simple as a faulty driver.

I sorted out similar problem on a friend's laptop by rolling back the driver to a previous version.
it connected fine after that.

if that doesn't work then it must be a hardware problem.
