Replace graphics card in S5116 laptop?

4 years ago - The laptop (S5116) stopped giving a screen. Took it to Geek Squad; bad graphics card.
They wanted $300+ to fix.
I am pretty handy and have tools, some knowledge and lots of time.
Is it possible for me to replace this at home?

I just saw a replacement motherboard on EBay. If it were "good" would that work?

If the system fits a normal 2.5" SSD or HDD then a 1TB SSD will definitely work.
