Replace USB 2 by USB 3. Possible?

I have a HP laptop. It has one USB 3 port and two USB 2 ports. I need second USB 3. Can replace one or even two USB 2 ports by USB 3 (which i will buy)? Does somebody sell them? Or motherboard does not support it?

You cannot upgrade your laptop's USB 2.0 ports to USB 3.0 because the internal host controller that they are connected to is only USB 2.0

What you can do is buy an external USB 3.0 hub and plug it in to the existing USB 3.0 port:
