Solved! Replacement battery only worked for 15 seconds

Hi guys so I have a Toshiba Satellite C6650 and a couple years back my battery died after only being able to use the laptop on the charger. 2 years have gone by and I have just bought a replacement battery upon delivery I immediately put it in and turned the laptop on, and it actually turned on for about 15 seconds then suddenly it turned of and now doesn't turn work at all even when on the charger.

It sounds like it’s a faulty battery, Try buying a new battery from a different seller
