Replacing Samsung HDTV Lamp

Hello,
I am trying to replace my Samsung HDTV lamp. However, after replacing it the TV will turn in talk for 1sec. and then will go off again. I do not seem to know what I am doing wrong. Please advise

Check to make sure the door switch is closed - sometimes the door warps and gets wavy. Also, your ballast could be bad, or more commonly, your color wheel is worn out. Does the lamp attempt to light and go out? Does it make a grinding or humming noise?
