That's why I'm seldom doing nothing BUT watching commercials. I'll be
doing something else (often it's reading newsgroups), and can still
hear.

And, possibly, you don't know everything. As I said before, the
commercials are also times to do other things (including reading
newsgroups).

And I do that some times, and some times find interesting things that
way.

The ideal is always BETWEEN the extremes. Far too many people miss
that.

Yup, I now have DVD +/-R/Rw But No Dr. Who.....

I have, in the past, contributed in support of a couple of shows on
Public Radio... They are sending me copy after copy of pledge forms
wanting me to pledge,,,, I sent them a letter "I pledeged in support of
two shows... Two you dropped"

When they dropped them i ask why "Too many listeners" was their response

I'm still trying to figure that one out

That "too many listeners" reminds we of some rejection letters sent to
credit-card applicants. 2 of the reasons they give for rejection are
"insufficient credit history" and "too many inquiries". In other
words, "you can't get a credit card if you really need one" and "you
can't get a credit card if you really want one".

The sort of thing I've been suggesting ever since I had a Replay (2020
at first, now 5xxx). Looks some people lack the ability to use usenet.
