request info on dell latitude d630

A friend of mind gave me a dell latitude d630 how ever when you boot the computer on everything is divided into 6 images would and ideals on what may cause this?

Does it do this in the bios and safe mode? If the bios and safe mode looks fine then it could be a driver problem. But the couple of times I have seen this it did it in the bios aswell and its caused by a bad GPU. To fix it you have to replace the motherboard.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to try reseating the lcd cable that plugs into the motherboard. A loose cable could cause that too.
