Reset a notebook hard drive

Hello,i took my aspire one to comp shop for re install of xp but they put pro in rather than home but its not complete i think i cannot recover as alt f10 dosent give me the option to reset i cannot install xp home as it wont boot off cd even though thats first boot option

Try going to the boot options menu (I believe it is f2) and hit boot from CD. It should then boot from the CD drive.
