Resolution in games is unable to change

Resolution in games is only showing 1920x1080, none other than this. But I was able to change it before I got updates from dell . After the installation of updates I am unable to change resolution in games, neither from documents folder.

My Laptop is Dell Inspiron 15 5578 2 in 1

Specifications:
i5 7200U 2.50 GHz
8gb Ram
1TB Hard drive
Intel HD 620 graphics
Windows 10 Home

It works after system restore but after restarting it again changes I don't know why . Maybe dell again install the updates.

Well I don't know what's the problem but please HELP !!!!
Because I want to play games so badly

try the restore again but turn off the updates both the dell & windows.
Turn off Windows Updates in Windows 10. You can do this using the Windows Update service. Via Control Panel > Administrative Tools, you can access Services. In the Services window, scroll down to Windows Update and turn off the process.

I would never recommend to switch windows10 updates.
You do not need dell updates you do not need any of DELL programs. uninstall anything that has got DELL in title. it still will work trust me.

turn them off to see if corrects the problem then can always turn win 10 update back on unless it is causing the issue.
