i'm presently at the end of a 2yr nationwide free and clear plan

i've been a sprint customer for 6 yrs. i also have my landline long distance
w/sprint

i presently have 2000 anytime minutes and 2 phones for $90/month

i was going to call *2 and ask:

to add a third line

up me to 2500 anytime minutes

and get three new nokia 6016i voice phones which are "free" after a $150 rebate

i am willing to sign another 2yr contract and am willing to pay the same
$90/month ($100-tops)

the 2500 normally goes for $115
$20 for the 2nd line, the 3rd line w/this many minutes is free
the 3 nokia phone are voice only so no other sprint add on services are needed
that comes to $135/month

imho it is not an unreasonable offer

think the good folks at *2 sprint will go for it?

if not, what is my fall back?

thanks in advance to any and all who care to share

be well

I suppose what you suggest is *possible* but it seems to me to be
reaching a bit.

I'm not aware of a retention plan in the 2500min neighborhood. I think it is
probably more likely to cast your proposal in terms of known options
(things that we know retention actually has codes for).

For example, I know you can get 180 or so extra minute add-ons and in fact
I have a 180min add-on to the $85/2000min plan. So 2180min for $85 is
definitely possible. You may even be able to get a 300min add-on or two
180's (I can't remember).

Also tact is FIMF, which, again, I know retention has been giving out since I
received it. FIMF is worth about 120-200 mins/month on average. You should
also be able to get 7pm NW, for either free or $5. That should be worth
quite a few more minutes. So using these options you should be able to
get pretty close to the 2500min/month.

The 3rd line, well, I have heard of free AAP, but I believe it is difficult to
get. You can try. If not, then $10 AAP should be possible. (So now you are
anywheres from $85-100/month.

As far as the free phones, you should be able to get roughly $100/year in
equipment credits So I don't know if you get manage THREE new phones, but
you should be able to get something... maybe one "free" for the new line, and
$150 credit for the two others.

All above speculation based on my own personal experience with retention...

I signed up for a retention plan 6 months ago that gave me 2 lines, 2500
anytime minutes, unlimited N&W, Vision on line 1, 8pm nights, free LD, and
free PCS-PCS calls for $100/month. I added 7pm N&W and F&CA for another $5
each. I declined Vision on line 2 as it wasn't needed. I haven't come even
close to using all 2500 minutes but it's still a very good deal for my needs
and it's nice to have the extra minutes just in case. Not sure if Sprint is
still offering this plan but I had to call them multiple times to get it.
