Retrieve data from dead macbook air

Hey there,
My macbook air recently stopped working, just went to sleep and never turned back on again. The apple techs at Jump+ said that there is a problem with the logic board and it would cost an arm and a leg to fix it. How would I go about retrieving the data from my dead mac?

it appears the hard drive is the ssd version & it might be soldered to the motherboard which mean no retrieval unless you get an identical motherboard minus the drive. if the ssd drive is the removable type then need a compatible usb interface adapter to connect the drive to a working computer.
