Retrieve deleted pics

My friend was pushing buttons on her Samsung tab3,,,all games,and pictures were deleted...can they be retrieved??

It might be possible for the pictures but the games have definitely gone.

If they were stored on an SdCard, rmove it and connect it via a carrier to your PC. You may see them there if they're just masked in the Android system or you may need a recovery utility to try retrieving them. Recuva is an effective utility from www.piriform.com.

If they were stored internally on the tablet, go to the Play Store and download Root File Manager. Look for the bright yellow icon and don't be misled by fake copies.

You don't need to root the device to use it and it's quite safe. Navigate through the folders looking for one named Lost & Found or LOST.dir. Those two are the equivalenf of Windows Recycle Bin and with a bit of luck, one or the other might have your/her photos.
