right side of USB port won't work

I took this XPS 13 into the shop and they told me that it was a software issue, although I told them it was a motherboard issue . I tried doing device manager again and Dell tells me on their webpage that nothing is wrong. The port on the right side doesn't work at all. Should I take this back in and tell them to fix it at no cost?

check each port make sure all the pins for both ports are there most time a pin breaks off or shorts out the port. if i was you i take it back have them fix it for free.
