ROG badge wont illuminate

I just bought my asus g550jx and im a little bit confuse why the badge doesnt illuminate when i use it, but when i try to boot the laptop up, it illuminate for a while, please help me

Is your keyboard lit? Maybe the logo only lights when you have the keyboard illuminated. Don't know what else to think.
