Uncontrollable. Cursor. Roams horizontally, on the left edge, at the "close" 'X'. Frustrating, no touch pad control often. Hibernating, restarting, running anti-virus don't work.
Looking for your hints, experiences, ideas - this makes any. use very slow. Using Chrome most of the time, sometimes Edge. Windows 10.

It's likely the joystick that's stuck in one position. This is a common problem as they age and may require a keyboard replacement. However, you might try simply moving the joystick around in a circle for a few seconds which may recenter it.
