RPG Game For Beginners

I've never played an RPG game before. I really enjoy adventure games. I wanted to try something new and have been thinking about trying an RPG game. (download game free)
I'm looking for any suggestions on where to begin with RPG games. Something for a newbie...adventure themed. I have a PC. Please help. I'm flying blind.

They are all great games. The Bethesda ones also have a gazillion mods.

I think more simple would be Diablo 2 or Diablo 3. It is very simple to get started with. It is more like hack and slash action RPG thing but it is fun and easy to learn.

Baldurs Gate enhanced edition is a Classic redone.
Dragons Age I was really good - didn't get around to playing II.

I would suggest the dragon quest games on mobiles if you want. Very easy to handle at the beginning.

You can also try a Final Fantasy (better the first ones) or Ys Chronicles (mobile and tablet) but it's with a particular gameplay

Final fantasy up to VI are available on Android. Those are good.
