Hi

I want to run two extra screens of the Laptop one of a VGA port and the other of an HDMI port but it keeps on saying that I must disable one for the others to work.

Is there perhaps any external software that can help.

Thanks

You can only use one external monitor using either the VGA port or HDMI port. Dedicated graphic chips and integrated graphic cores can only process two video signals; one goes to the laptop's screen and the other goes to the VGA or HDMI port.

If the laptop had a DisplayPort, then it would be possible to connect a 2nd external monitor because DisplayPorts includes hardware to process video signals.

You need to use a USB to HDMI adapter or USB to VGA adapter

Yes, you can. Just be aware that "displaylink docking stations" typically connects to a PC's / laptop's USB 3.0 port. So all devices attached to the docking stations will be limited by the bandwidth of a single USB 3.0 port.
