Question Samsung 1080p tv with smart hub locked at 720p (or less)

I have a samsung j5290 43" and the smart hub and all the tv option menus has a very poor image quality, i tried to update but seems i have the last update patch, can i fix it or is just that way? i am currently using the xiaomi mi box and the image quality is much superior so its not the tv itself

If the problem is just the resolution of the menu then it would take Samsung to change that.
