This artical seems odd to me, considering the 7 series has been advertised on TV for a couple months now, and the fact that I have seen the 7series for sale at local BestBuys. According to this artical they arnt released till Augest but have been compainged and sold for the past couple months?

Meh... contrast ratio doesn't mean much considering that there is no industry standard for it. 1,000,000:1 may not look much better than 5000:1 between two different brands.

Im the default tech guru at my job and I have to remind people of that all the time.

That being said, it prolly beats the crap out of my Sony WEGA 30" HD CRT. I'll take 2.
