Samsung blu ray to Marantz AV receiver no picture

I am not getting video or audio from the blu ray player. The blu ray is connected to the AV receiver by HDMI and the receiver is connected to the TV by HDMI. Any ideas on why it is not working?

Hello... Basically, You must check and set your Communication modes between all devices... Typically your Reciever needs to Read and then pass through your Video signal to your TV... Does the Blu ray work directly to your TV?

Hi Ironsounds, yes, the Blu Ray does work directly to the TV. Settings seems to be ok as well...

Hello... check your reciever manual/PDF and see what connector or switch must be turned on to send the Video signal through your reciever to your TV?

If this is a new hookup you will need to assign the HDMI input you have connected to an input. You do this in the input setup menu. If you don't have the manual you can download it from the Marantz site for your country.
