What is your carrier? Usually updates are controlled by the carriers, so it would be best to look around for info about it in concern to an update.

You can get the latest ROMs(cooked and stock) from XDA forums,have a look at their site

we're still waiting for it. Samsung is the one stalling on it, I can say that for sure.
