Samsung dlp remote not controlling tv on off

After replacing the color wheel on a Samsung DLP, the remote control does not work anymore. Any suggestions?

Check to see if the remote is actually transmitting. Point the end of the remote at a camera phone, digital camera, or camcorder. If you see a little white light flashing, its working, and you have an issue with the TV set. If not, it's the remote. Sometimes you can do a reset in the service menu, but without a remote, i'm not sure you can access it.
