I am trying to replace the original HDD in my all in one PC. The issue is that my new HDD cannot be detected by the SATA connection on the motherboard but can be through USB port. I've tried a SSD and an HDD, both new, but neither had luck. The only other HDD that did work was an original from a Samsung laptop.

I tried everything possible with bios but no luck detecting the new HDD on bios? I am also unlikely to update the bios as in the past it will freeze the entire PC.
Any advice?

Thanks

Hi there D4t4t2,

All of these drives should have SATA interface right?
Well, I believe it will not hurt to contact the manufacturer's Support and ask them on that.

Let us know how this goes,
