Samsung Galaxy A5 Faulty Charging

So Recently I experienced a problem with my A5 when I tried to charge it but it couldn't charge but when I turned it off it showed that it was charging. The next day I tried charging it while it was on and it worked. This has gone on now for a few days where I could or I couldn't charge.

Contact Samsung if it's still under warranty - - they've had a few issues with battery & charging on some models.
