Seen some guides as to how to make external sd card to internal storage but there is no 3 dots or settings option on sd card, in storage in device care since it's the only way to check storage.

Which android version is on it?
Probably with your version it´s not available to use the SD card as internal storage, but you can transfer apps to the SD card like this:
