Samsung Galaxy Core Prime wont charge. Says to verify if tje charger is a samsung charger. Its lile it thinks its not.

Hello, My Samsung Galaxy Core Prime wont charge. Its asking me to verify if the charger is a samsung charger which it is and wont charge untill I have done it. While trying to figure out why it wont charge It ran out of juice. The screen is now displaying a vibrating noise and showing a yellow traingle with a battery and a diagional slash through it. But the charger I am using is in fact a samsung charger that came with it. Ive only had it for a year. Ive pulled the battery out and put it back in, and checked to see if the charger works and it does. Please help!!

It may be damage to the charger, or it could be in need of a battery replacement. Try a different charger and see if that works. If it doesn't then it probably needs the battery.
