SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 issue with WiFi connectivity

I was outside and I was letting my friend check his social media on my phone (big mistake). The free building wifi wasn't connecting. When I got back home it showed my wifi was disconnected even though my settings were to auto connect. When I clicked connect it would act like it was connected but it won't connect. I tried to connect multiple times but it won't work. I forgot the wifi and tried to log in. It had the same aforementioned issue. Now it's showing an authentification error. I tried the #0011# fix but it didn't work. What do I do?

Authentication error sounds like you are entering the wrong password. Try contacting the WiFi owner to be sure you have the right one.
