Samsung GT N8013 Stuck on Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 page

My N8013 is stuck on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 screen. Kids played with it and then set it to charge after draining the battery. Once it charge, I went to turn it on and it won't go past the afore mentioned screen. Seems to be an ongoing problem with no solution other than to toss the tablet.

What it will do:
1. I can get to ODIN page (power + volume down)

What it will not do:
1. Turn off and stay off--Only way to completely turn it off is to wait until the battery dies otherwise it restarts itself and hangs up on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Screen
2. Will not go to the factory reset page (power + volume up). It blanks and then restarts to the same page

Have you tried reloading it in "Safe Mode" to see if it will turn on that way?

To get into "Safe Mode" please do the following.

1. First turn off the tablet.

2. Next press and hold "Power" until you see the manufacturers logo on the screen, then release the power button.

3. "Quickly" press "Volume Down" and hold it for few seconds until you see the message "Safe mode: ON" or something similar.

4. If you wanted disable it, simply repeat the steps above, and you should see "Safe Mode: OFF" rather than on.
