Hello,
Am encountering a weird issue with my lappy keyboard. It randomly starts typing '1' wherever the text writing field is available. If i manage to stop it somehow, the keyboard has 'cntrl' key pressed somehow and then every function acts as if its paired with 'cntrl'. If i press 'cntrl' key 4-5 times..cntrl button would go back to normal but again the '1' key spam would start. This process happens in a loop as if both are interconnected or something. I got a new USB keyboard, disabled the laptop's inbuilt keyboard physically, tried cleaning the keys, updating drivers...everything that i could find on the internet, but the damn thing won't stop.
Any any solution to this would be greatly appreciated. Please help me out.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Please do test your keyboard if it requires a replacement already.
- Check keyboard language settings.
- Open Control Panel and look for Region and Language.
- Check all tabs if they are all set to United States.
- If that doesn't work, try pressing those following keys which are not working using your onscreen keyboard (Ease of Access look for Onscreen keyboard)
- Connect an external keyboard and see if the same problem will persist because if does you may need to consider on doing a complete Factory Reset cause it's a problem with your operating system.
- If all those keys are working just fine it's time to replace the keyboard.
