Samsung laptop password

Every time my Samsung laptop has to restart, I have trouble having it accept my passwords. Sometimes it asks for my Microsoft password and now it wants the last password used on this computer so I tried entering my Samsung laptop password. I have used every password I have in my list of passwords and none of them work so I therefore, can not use my laptop. Any suggestions?
