Samsung NP300 Laptop powers on dvd works hdd on for only 4 seconds no video no sound no idea changed hdd no change cmos battery?

Possibly a bad motherboard or bad RAM. CMOS battery just retains BIOS settings when no power is connected.

Take out your RAM and test, or swap in different RAM and test.
