Samsung phone troubles

I have a Samsung Galaxy Discover. I was at the mall today and my phone worked perfectly fine. We were waiting in Hot Topic and I decided to turn my phone off. I went to turn it on when I got home. It got passed the "Samsung" screen but then it froze. I've taken the battery out and put it back in but it won't work. If anyone has any suggestions, that'd be great.

Take it to your service provider and ask them what the problem could be.
