Only if you're talking about underpowered tablets with mobile phone OS's...last time I checked, Samsung does pretty well in other market segments, like Televisions and memory. If you ask me, Samsung is a better long term bet. Apple used to be successful for hardware and software supremacy, now it's success is based on style appeal and trendiness... and only those people still wearing parachute pants, fanny packs, with your 80's perm and dancing the Macarena know that fads come and go. Marketing can get your far, but quality coupled with low manufacturing costs transferred to consumers by means of competitive pricing will always win in the end.
