Samsung S3 Hotspot

Hello everyone

I've recently purchased a samsung galaxasy S3, and the first problem has appeared!

When im outside would like to take use of its Hotspot function, but my laptop can't find it ?
It is working perfectly fine with any other wireless network, but it can't find even find the S3 hotspot?

My laptop is pretty old -- > http/www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=3904
, but i would'nt think that it is a problem due to the fact that it connects fine to other wireless networks.

What could be wrong?

Are you using WPA2 encryption for the hotspot? Try just WPA.

Get "Quick Settings" to activate wifi hotspot, when trying to connect from laptop I get the signal, but you need to type in a password to access the phone hotspot. The password for ur hotspot is ur cell number when u use the moble hotspot.
