Samsung series 7 Chronos sleep mode issue...

on Thursday, and I've had a few issues that you guys may be able to help me with (this is my first post so be nice!)

When I put the laptop into sleep mode on some occasions I am unable to get it out of sleep mode. I am unfamiliar with windows 8, but the laptop should come out of sleep mode by pressing the mouse/a button or the power button shouldn't it?

Any help to sort out this issue would be appreciated. An answers page said that making the hdd never turn itself off would solve the problem, but I believe that would be negative for the laptop in the long term.

This is a well known Problem With this model, the HD4000 and your Dedicated Video Card arent working properly togueter, here is a tutorial i found that fix your problem:

A. First time upgrading to 13.5 beta 3

1. Update your intel HD4000 drivers through SW update if they are not up-to-date.

2. Go to programs and features and run AMD Catalyst install manager. Check "Express Uninstall all AMD software" and run it. Reboot after it's done.

3. Download the AMD drivers from here: Download AMD Mobility Catalyst Graphics Driver 13.5 Beta 3 Driver for Windows Vista / Windows Vista64 / Windows 7 / Windows 7 x64 / Windows 8 / Windows 8 x64 - Softpedia

4. Install them.

5. Reboot.
