Samsung smart Super UHD TV

Recently bought a new Samsung curved UHD TV but didn't reliase it dosen't have any audio jack. Wanted to connent my Altec Lansing speakers to my new TV but I'm having issue...Bought a digital to analog audio converter ,having problem connecting it. any one can advise me in how to solved tgis?

Digital audio out of TV to DAC. Analog out of DAC to the speakers.
Did you turn on the digital audio output of the TV?
Did you change the audio output type to PCM stereo? Most DACs require this.
You may also have to turn the TV speakers off.
The output of the TV is most likely to be fixed volume so you will have to adjust the volume with the Altec speakers not the TV remote.
