Hello,
my brand new samsung smart tv wont find any wireless internet connections to connect to. When it searches it will spend about 30 seconds searching but never finds any. I know the wireless is working because there are sveral laptops connected and handheld devices. Distance also shouldn't be a problem because my laptop and Ipod have almost full bars in the same area as the TV. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure if this will help or not but this is what finally worked for me. after trying for hours to figure this out. I too have multiple clients connected to my router but since the router was outdated I upgraded to a new one.

Still the same issue. Finally I decided to set the IP settings in the TV manually then pressed ok. I then turned the TV off for about a minute turned it back on then checked the network status on the TV menu.

I'm not sure exactly what the problem was but it was very reluctant to let go of a wrongly acquired "obtain automatically" settings. Just setting the IP settings manually won't fix it either unless you turn off the TV wait a minute then back on.

Hope this helps someone.

I have the same problem on my samsung tv ua46eh5300 and wondering if you find any solutions. My smart tv won't find any Internet while my wirless is fine because I have access to the Internet from other devices my pc or I pad. However, still can not connect my tv to the Internet.

I had the same problem and couldn't find an answer, so I did some trial and error and got it working :D
Firstly update the TV firmware, you can do this by going to Samsung's support page and downloading the firmware for your set.. or plug in a LAN cable (setting the network through LAN) pressing menu-support-software update on your remote. I downloaded onto my laptop, opened the file and saved it to a USB stick, then did the above update method clicking on the use USB option.

Once the firmware is updated try searching again (make sure the LAN cable is out, otherwise it just sticks to using it and wont search) and hopefully it works.
If not don't panic as mine still didn't either.. so I turned the tv off for 2 minutes, turned it back on and BAM
UP AND ONLINE THROUGH WIRELESS :bounce:

wolf I followed your directions, i'm also having this problem. it doesn't give me an option to add a network. when I first connected to the internet it found it no problem, now nothing comes up.

update:
when I set my tv off. unplug the power for 5 min. then on . all wireless routers appear when I search for them in network setting , after 10 sec it vanish and it wont connect. so its a software issue not hardware. by the way , I plugged a Lan cable and updated the firmware to 001020 and still now doesn't working.

Im having the exact same problem, no networks are showing up. I did have to get a new modem recently and that is when the problem started, but all other devices are connected wireless-ly to the same network.
Even if there was a problem with my internet/modem, shouldn't other networks at least show up on the list?
Thanks
