Samsung sound issue

I have a Samsung TV. When my LG Blu ray player is connected I get a good picture and no sound. I have used a new HDMI cable with same result.( picture no sound) I have tried the LG player on a different TV and it works just fine. I have tried a different Blu ray player with the Samsung TV and get the same result (picture no sound.) This is a new problem my LG Blu ray player has been connected for almost a year to the Samsung TV without any issues until last week.

Try a different HDMI input on the TV
Check the audio menu of the BD player to see if a setting has changed.
