scanning glass mounted slides

my slides were made by my father in 1959. They are square approximately 2.75"x2.75" .. is there a way i can scan said slides without taking them apart? .. thanks .. dave

You mean, slides as "photographic"?

Clean the glass frame as good as you cam, place them on a scanner, and see what you can scan. There are probably specialized film scanners, but for these frames I would suspect they are way out of amateur range.

The proper way to do this is to dismount the frames, and place films straight onto the scanner.
