Sceptre X32 HDMI TV - no picture, but I do have sound.

I have done 2 types of factory resets but nothing has worked. I was told that the backlight or circuit board needs to be replaced in my Sceptre X32 HDMI TV which is 2 years old. Is it worth to replace the TV?

Overall, cheaper to replace TV. 32" TV's run under $200 these days, and the parts alone can run $100 easily.

Hi Christine, I am having a similar issue with my Sceptre x32 also. My HDMI ports are not working and I would like to do a factory reset on the TV but

Search on the internet, and I found out that Sceptre x32 can be reset by pressing "Menu 3 6 9 8"

sad thing is if you read the reviews like at Wal-Mart it seems to be the common issue with most all the low/bad reviews [[I own one myself ] so I just keep my fingers crossed now each time I turn it on and hope for a display other then black....

well, found out that Sceptre x32 can be reset by pressing "Menu 3 6 9 8" thanks
