Screen Color Distortion??

Okay picture this; when I open the laptop to view the screen, anything between 0°-90° the screen colors look like a photo negative if that makes sense. Theres a red hue to it as well. But when I tilt the screen past 90° its perfectly fine.
Its an HP Pavilion dv6-3122us running Windows 7 x64.
Ive updated the graphics drivers but still no use, anyone have any ideas or have come across this before?

Okay I will probably have to take it to a local computer shop then, I cant get that damn backing off to save my life. My sony vio and gateway come off, but the 3 HP laptops wont budge. Damn Hewlett Packard...
