Screen fades white but goes away when pressure is applied?

I have a toshiba satalite l755 s5216 laptop.The problem is that when i turn on the laptop the screen is white like its frozen but when i applie pressure at the bottom right side of the screen it goes away i need to have my hand on the bottom right side of my screen for it to work .any help is appreciated

probably a loose connection or the problem with the lcd itself.if u have to press the screen in order to get it to work then most of the time its the lcd itself.have u try an external monitor?

Sorry for the late reply. It works when i connect to a external display, how do i check if its a lose cable?
