Compaq Presario C700
I have replaced the LCD screen and the inverter.

The screen flickers ALWAYS, even while posting through BIO and safe mode screens.

Any ideas?

no i did not but I do have the machine apart and I am about to start resetting cables. I was hoping therte was a software solution before i go further. Bah! Cables.
