Solved! Screen going black as if been laid idle??

Hi, my daughter has an aspire15 ..she has turned it on and it came on fine but the screen goes black every couple of seconds. She is able to navigate on things such as google but still keeps going black. Its very annoying as she isnt really able to use it properly. Is it fixable?? And if so is it easily done?? Thank you for any info and advice

1. Go into "Control Panel" and click the "Power Options".
2. Next to the plan that is currently selected click "Change Plan Settings".
3. Now click "Change Advanced Power Settings".
4. Now check the settings for the "Display" and also "Sleep" to make sure it isn't set to turn off. You may want to check the other choices as well.

If none of this helps, it may be a connection withing the laptop. If it is loose, then it could make the display blink in and out. If the device is under warranty, contact the manufacturer. If it isn't then you would need someone to open it up and check.
