I have a Galaxy J3 Prime, fairly new. I have noticed the screen jittering. Lowering the screen brightness stops it. Having radio intensive apps running seems to affect it as well. The battery is charging fine and maintaining charge. I removed the battery and cleaned the contacts on it and on the phone with alcohol and a que tip and it seemed to have fixed it, but it's back now, so it's hard to tell if that actually had any effect.
It's clear that under high amp loads, the screen is unstable. I haven't seen any other faults such as CPU errors or crashes, so perhaps it's just the GPU.
Instead of buying a new one, I'd like to try something to keep this one working. My initial thoughts are first, to put something on the contacts to make a better connection with the battery and second, to put a piece of paper between the battery and the case (however many sheets thick) to shim it and make a tighter contact (without so many that I break the phone's connector pins).
Any other ideas?
Bob
