Hi,

my goal is to record my Diablo2 gameplay.

But I've tried a whole bunch of screen recording software (all free shareware from the net) and none seem to work -- an error always occurs whenever I maximize my Diablo2 window.

For example, in the case of Hero Screen recorder, the error is "courseware2.exe has encountered a problem....needs to close"

I tried another game, Warcraft 3, and it was the same error.

both fraps and snagit will do a good job, however I'm have not used them for a while so I'm not sure which is best but fraps advertises as being able to record games ;)

you need some webspace or run your pc as a webserver but that subject does not belong in this topic.

but unless you got the pc and specs and line speed for it I would not recommend streaming from your desktop ;)

CaptureWizPro or SnagIt. If you want to record a video of your game then go with Camtasia which you can get at techsmith.com
