SD card formated but then states card is full what am I doing wrong?

Formatted SD card and now states that card is full what am I doing wrong. The SD card is SanDisk 128 GB. Thank you!

1) Did you format the card in the camera or camcorder?
2) Does your camera or camcorder support a 128GB SD card?
If you are not sure then please post the make (Canon, Sony, Nikon, etc.) and model of the camera or camcorder.
